Well, where do I start?

I'm not sure is the honest answer! In the run up to the club being launched I can honestly say that I wasn't expecting the response that I got. With 40 people registering their interest and another 13 fully paid members, I can only open this E-zine with a big "Thank You".

The club is there for you to enjoy. We are hoping to expand throughout the globe, and plans are afoot to make it happen. Time will tell how successful we are.

I'll stop wittering for now, but will finish off with a quick note as to how excited I am about the upcoming annual meet. This year is looking like it'll be superb for all of us, with an excellent turn out expected. Let's pray for some dry weather.

Upcoming Events

7th June 2009 - The Annual Meet. If you don't know about this one then follow this link to find out more. This is the event of the year, and looks like we're going to get a superb turnout of varied machinery. From the mild-mannered standard 2.8's to a D3 S8 and a D3 W12.....something for everyone.

27th/28th June 2009 - Gti International. By far and away the biggest VAG meet of the year. A8OC are turning out in force for this one, with several members promising to turn up and show their rides.

9th August 2009 - Audis in the Park. This is a new one for me, and again it looks like we'll be getting a good turnout for it. 8 cars so far, with plenty of time between now and then to get a few more

Merchandise

For all of you who paid up and suffered the delays in receiving your merchandise. I must apologise. All logistical issues have now been resolved, so any new orders will be supplied much more quickly. I must thank you all for your patience.

I am still awaiting some addresses from a few of you, but rest assured I will be bringing all merchandise along with me to the meet.

I'm going to open this up with a shot of my beauty. A 2000 model A8 QS, I've owned her since November of 2003, and can honestly say that I love this car immensely. So here's a shot from my archives of the car when I hadn't thought of modding her (hard to believe I know!!).
